On Sunday October 15, @vegos_islington was stoked to be part of the @dog_day_festival at the @lassogowriehotel to raise money for @dog_rescue_newcastle.
We had a wonderful day with our Pop Up (Pup Up) menu selling just a couple of our easy-to-make burgers such as the Cheese Royale, our ol’ fave Chick’n Burger, and the classic Cheeseburger. We met lots of lovely people, made some new friends and got to spend time with some gorgeous doggies – all of them very interested in what was cooking on the Vego’s grill!!
There was also a range of very cool market stalls – with quite a few selling doggy-related merch, EllenThe Fool telling your Tarot future while the entertainment was just fabulous with Drag and Burlesque performers as well as bands and DJs – just fab!
